CHOSEN

I often struggle with knowing my identity in Christ. I listen to the lies the Enemy tries to whisper to me. I focus on my sin and my mistakes and forget that Jesus washed all that away with His blood. I want someone to tell me who I am I Christ, but usually I’m too afraid to ask. It feels embarrassing to forget that I’m a child of the Creator of the Universe, who loves me more than I can imagine. So, if you’re struggling with knowing who you are in Christ, let me tell you. :) 

YOU, my friend, are chosen

Clean 

"Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you." - John 15:3 

Hidden in Christ 

"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." - Colossians 3:3

an Overcomer 

"Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" -1 John 5:5

Sanctified 

“…But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." - 1 Corinthians 6:11b

Empowered 

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

New

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." - 2 Corinthians 5:17 

We don’t have to prove our worth to a God who gave us worth. We can’t add to the gift of salvation Jesus gave us on the cross. No matter what the lies being whispered to you right now are, the truth is that you priceless and precious in God’s eyes.
